We'll use what's local and what's in season from our farmers at Fulton Stall Market to create a Surprise Pesto from Leslie Lennox's template in her new book "Pesto: The Modern Mother Sauce" that combines plants, garlic, nuts, cheese, seasoning, and oil.

Leslie Lennox shows us that pesto need not be limited to its original ingredients―and that creative pestos can serve as building blocks for flavorful dishes, just like any good “mother sauce.”
